Our collaborative project team are working across Yorkshire to deliver place-based activities and connecting with stakeholders to scale-up and replicate learnings in other parts of the region.

Led by Leeds Arts University, York St John University and Bradford University. Building on the activities of City of Culture Bradford 2025 for place-based work package activities

Culture and creative industries' demonstrator project

Led by Leeds Conservatoire, Leeds Arts University, Bradford Council and Bradford Cultural Education Partnership. This partnership will be working in Bradford to explore careers advise and guidance and pathways into the cultural sector

Climate-ready places demonstrator project

Climate-ready places

Led by Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission (based at University of Leeds) and Stockholm Environment Institute (based at University of York) and using North Yorkshire as a testbed for work package activities

The Yorkshire & Humber Office for Data Analytics (YHODA), based at The University of Sheffield, supports data-driven decision-making through open-access data and analytics. 

Community data

YPIP Community Panel

A forum of diverse lived experience to co-shape and co-develop major YPIP activities and meaningful community involvement.

Our Community Panel is made up of 23 people from diverse cultures, communities and places across Yorkshire, including Bradford, Castleford, Harrogate, Hornsea, Hull, Leeds, Pocklington, Scarborough, Sheffield and Wakefield. Our panel represents the voices of those who are often underrepresented or marginalised in research and policy making, and experience inequality in their everyday lives. Members include young people, older people, neurodivergent people, those living with disabilities or long term health conditions, migrants and refugees, care leavers, LGBTQ+ people and people with experience of homelessness, poverty, mental health issues, addiction, racism, and the criminal justice system.
